What our guests say about the Artpreneur Retreat: “Nothing but amazing!”
The Creative Entrepreneur Retreat with Artist Cat Coquillette and Educator Logan Elliott has come to an end, and what a retreat it was! The guests upgraded their art skills and business savviness, shared gourmet food, explored beautiful locations in France, and most of all bonded with each other.
Here they are, enjoying each other’s company and a glass of wine in front of the bonfire at the retreat venue.
The friendships made throughout the retreat have continued to this day. Participants still share their daily experiences with each other on the private groups they’ve created, even now that they’re thousands of miles apart in different corners of the world. They exchanged contacts and set up projects with each other, which we’re excited to see in the near future. The energy was so high and the creativity buzzing!
How did the magic happen? It all started with a click. “Finish reservation” – and there they were, on the fast track to better business acumen, art skills, and more connections with fellow creatives from all over the world. Once the intention was set, the process unfolded smoothly, and the group met one fine Saturday afternoon at Gare de Limoges-Bénédictins, ready to embark on a trip of a lifetime.
“Nothing but amazing!” is the title of @juliemstudios’ blog post about her experiences at the art retreat. She knows that sharing the space and time with the wonderful art group has brought a rush of inspiration and energy to her creative business. She says that “meeting other artists, learning beside this amazing talent, and learning from two beautiful souls was nothing but spectacular.”
And she’s not the only one who had a blast. @ejw__art said: “Just had one of the most amazing weeks of my life! Meeting two of my art & entrepreneurship mentors and 10 amazing fellow creatives! I learned so much and had a blast!!! Thank you @uptrekcom for organizing everything!”

The group gathered around the figures of Cat Coquillette and Logan Elliott, who gave so much of themselves and shared countless valuable insights, knowledge, advice, mentoring, and inspiration with the group! (Thank you, Cat and Logan, and congratulations on a wonderful retreat!)
We’ll never forget the night when everyone got to literally burn off all of their past business mistakes in the bonfire or the visit to the National Porcelain Museum in Limoges that gave birth to some gorgeous artwork afterward.
The trip to Arnac-Pompadour inspired the art retreat participants to paint the beautiful horses in the castle stables, and painting by the river in Ségur-le-Chateau brought a special surprise: a gorgeous cat came to visit the group and spent some lovely time with them, purring happily amongst the watercolor palettes and paint brushes.
Laughter and playfulness, insight, and artistry were all experienced and shared by the art workshop participants.
