Do I have to pay UpTrek a commission?

There is absolutely no fee to lead a retreat on UpTrek. In fact, you will earn a fee.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No.

Do I have to advertise the retreat?

Yes, the advertising of the retreat falls under the instructor’s responsibility, since UpTrek is a platform that offers its services to artists who wish to create a retreat for their audience. UpTrek offers guidelines and counseling for promotions.

Is there a deadline to fill the group?

Once listed, your retreat is reserved at no charge. The retreat becomes guaranteed when all the spots have been filled. If the retreat is not sold out within 60 days, we will revisit the listing together with the artist and make a decision to either re-promote or cancel.

How and when do I get paid?

After your retreat becomes guaranteed and fully charged, you will receive a 30% upfront of your earnings within 7 business days. The remaining balance will be paid within 7 business days from the end of the retreat.

Can I set my earnings?

Yes, you are free to set your own earnings, and guest prices will be calculated accordingly.

How long does it take until my application to lead the retreat is reviewed?

It can take up to two weeks for UpTrek to review your application and get back to you. We review all applications and you will receive a response in due time.

Will the retreat be available for the rest of the world?

This is up to you. The retreat can be exclusive for a closed group or open to applicants from all over the world.

Are there any requirements the classes I teach must meet?

You are in charge of the structure of your classes and workshops and we can provide guidance where necessary.

Who will handle the inquiries and bookings?

UpTrek collects all inquiries and handles bookings through its booking platform.

Will guests receive a full refund if the retreat is not guaranteed?

UpTrek does not charge the payment method we collect until the retreat becomes guaranteed.

What are the benefits of partnering with UpTrek?

Instructors interested in traveling and teaching can earn money easily and connect to their audience on a more personal level. You can lead as many retreats as you want and customize your own!

What are the inclusions for the instructor?

All the inclusions for your guests apply to the instructor as well.

Are my travel expenses included?

Airfare costs are not covered by UpTrek, but ground transportation can be included.

UpTrek will take care of that for you through our booking engine and our partners on location.
