Do I have to pay UpTrek a commission?

There is absolutely no fee to lead a retreat on UpTrek. In fact, you will earn a fee.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No.

Is there a deadline to fill the group?

Once listed, your retreat is reserved at no charge and becomes guaranteed and will be advertised as such once over half of the group size has been booked. (note: or pre-set minimum)

How and when do I get paid?

Your earnings will be paid 7 days after the retreat ends based on a contract and invoice from you.

Can I set my earnings?

This retreat has set earnings. You can customize your own retreat. Our retreat configurator enables instructors to set the earnings they expect. The price the guests have to pay for the retreat will be automatically adjusted.

How long does it take until my application to lead the retreat is reviewed?

It usually takes less than 24 hours for UpTrek to approve you as an instructor and follow up with more information.

Do I have to advertise the retreat?

UpTrek welcomes engagement from instructors however they see fit.

Will the retreat be available for the rest of the world?

This is up to you. The retreat can be exclusive for a closed group or open to applicants from all over the world.

Are there any requirements the classes I teach must meet?

You are in charge of the structure of your classes and workshops.

Who will handle the inquiries and bookings?

UpTrek collects all the inquiries and handles bookings through its booking platform.

Will guests receive a full refund if the retreat is not guaranteed?

UpTrek does not charge the payment method we collect until the retreat becomes guaranteed.

What are the benefits of partnering with UpTrek?

Instructors interested in traveling and teaching can earn money easily. You can lead as many retreats as you want and customize your own!

What are the inclusions for the instructor?

All the inclusions for your guests apply to the instructor as well.

Are my travel expenses included?

Airfare costs are not covered by UpTrek, but ground transportation can be included.

UpTrek will take care of that for you through our booking engine and our partners on location.
