### Day 3: Boat trip to Navagio Beach
Fuel up with a fresh breakfast before gathering with Lori and Kenzie, grabbing your sketchbook, and heading out toward the sea for one of the most jaw-dropping mornings of the whole retreat.Sets off from the small port of Porto Vromi on a boat trip along the Zakynthian coast, riding across the brilliantly blue water. Jagged cliffs and hidden sea caves slide past as the boat carries you toward Navagio Beach, also known as Shipwreck Beach, where the rusted hull of an old vessel rests dramatically in white sand, wrapped in rumor and history. Soak it all in, take reference photos, and fill your sketchbook with quick sketches from the boat as Lori and Kenzie encourage you to capture what catches your eye and store up impressions to bring back to the journal later. After returning to Porto Vromi, head back to the venue for a nourishing lunch and some time to rest before the afternoon begins.Back in the studio, Lori and Kenzie will guide you in going through your reference photos and favorite words and images gathered from the trip, using them as the jumping-off point for a landscape-focused journal session. With all that extraordinary coastal scenery fresh in your mind, you will translate what moved you from the boat into your travel journal using watercolor, gouache, stamps, pens, and markers, building pages that feel alive with the light and energy of the day.As the afternoon wraps up, take some time to recharge before coming together for a three-course dinner prepared by the private chef, served with a very well-earned glass of wine.

### Day 4: Art at the venue
Wake up to a delicious breakfast before gathering with Lori and Kenzie for a quick morning check-in. Ease into the day and talk through where everyone is with their journals.Fresh from yesterday's boat trip to Navagio Beach, the morning is dedicated to capturing the whole extraordinary experience in a full journal spread. Lori and Kenzie will guide you in pulling together your reference photos and favorite moments from the trip into a landscape-focused spread that crackles with the light and atmosphere of the Zakynthian coast.Following a refreshing lunch, the afternoon picks up exactly where the morning left off, pushing the landscape journal work further and deeper. Lori and Kenzie will help you develop your spreads with more detail and intention, encouraging you to observe what is working and make bold decisions about where to go next.As the day winds down, find a terrace, breathe in the sea air, and properly congratulate yourself on a wonderfully productive day before sitting down to a three-course dinner prepared by the in-house chef, paired with a glass of local wine.

### Day 5: Trip to Zante Town
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast, followed by a brief morning check-in with the venue hosts, allowing the swirl of creative energy to sweep you away. Grab your sketchbook and head out to the lively coastal town of Zante, Zakynthos’ capital, a place bursting with Mediterranean color and personality.Once in Zante Town, step into a wonderland of vibrant blooms, sunlit balconies, Venetian arches, and sparkling sea views. Pause to sketch reflections dancing on the harbor, and zoom in on the delicate structures of Wander through the harbor front and into the old town streets. Lori and Kenzie will encourage you to sketch on the spot and take plenty of reference photos, gathering the raw material that will directly shape your travel journal pages back in the studio. Soak up as much as you possibly can before heading back!Return to the venue for a filling lunch, then head into the afternoon session with Lori and Kenzie. Working through your photos from the morning, you will learn how to identify and select the strongest visual references. Learn what makes an image work as a jumping-off point for a journal spread. Lori and Kenzie will show you how to look at a photo not just as a record of a place but as a source of shapes, color relationships, and compositional ideas that can be translated into your own travel journal style. As the class comes to an end, take some time to recharge before coming together for a three-course dinner prepared by the private chef, accompanied by a glass of fragrant wine.

### Day 6: Art at the venue

Everything you sketched and photographed will become the foundation for a spread that is bursting with the personality of the town. Lori and Kenzie will guide you in pulling it all together, helping you make bold compositional decisions and find a visual flow across the page.Head to lunch before returning for an afternoon of playing with shape. Lori and Kenzie will take you through the joy of working with contour lines as a tool for capturing people and places with confidence and personality.
