# UpTrek Cancellation Policy

## Before a Retreat Is Guaranteed

A retreat is **guaranteed** once the minimum group size has been confirmed. Until then:

- No payment is charged.
- Your reservation can be cancelled at any time at no cost.

## After a Retreat Is Guaranteed

Once a retreat is guaranteed, payment is charged in full. From this point:

- All payments are **final and nonrefundable**.
- This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation (illness, change of plans, travel restrictions, etc.).

## Why This Policy Exists

Retreats involve significant upfront commitments to instructors, venues, and local partners. Once a retreat is guaranteed to run, those commitments cannot be reversed.

## Travel Insurance Is Mandatory
