# Marcy Ferro
*Mixed media artist, author, and educator*

Marcy Ferro is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. She began drawing at a very young age and was painting in oils by around age six, before moving into acrylic and mixed media in the mid-2000s. Today, her work spans painting, resin, jewelry, custom furniture, and photography, with a clear focus on mixed media and abstract art.

Alongside her own studio practice, Marcy is a published author and educator. She has written "The Paint Pouring Workshop" and "The Resin Art Workshop," two guides drawn directly from her own studio process. Beyond her books, she teaches through her Mixed Media Girl YouTube channel, online courses on her website, in-person classes and workshops, and one-on-one mentoring for artists looking to build their own creative practice.

At the heart of Marcy's teaching is the belief that art is one of the best ways for people to improve their mood, take in their environment, embrace life, and find moments of beauty in everything. She brings that philosophy into every class, with a supportive, hands-on approach focused on getting more people making art.
