# Marc Dalessio

Marc Dalessio is an American naturalistic painter. Marc fell in love with the natural world since early childhood. He was born in California and spent four years in the Fiji Islands as a young boy. Experiencing the beautiful landscapes of both lands instilled an appreciation for the natural world that Marc now translates into his paintings. His journey with fine art started at the University of California at Santa Cruz where he was introduced to plein-air landscape painting and academic drawing. After this experience, Marc moved to Italy to train at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence where he learned to channel strong emotions and passion through analytical precision and skill to create the magnificent paintings that he is known for today.
