During your stay at the Ao Koei camp, you will learn Muay Thai fundamentals with emphasis on responsible defense, proper management of angles, combinations, and timing:
Throughout your Muay Thai training vacation you will be accommodated in one of the 10 private bungalows located next to the gym. Seven bungalows are rustic wooden constructions, while three are more modern. You will be able to relax and recover without any distractions and enjoy the sound of waves, since the bungalows are just a short walk away from the beach.
During your stay at the Ao Koei camp, you will be served brunch and dinner every day. All food is prepared using fresh and often straight from the land ingredients.
The Muay Thai training camp is located on a secluded beach in the Khura Buri district of Thailand. The beach stretches for 48 km / 30 miles with beautiful jungle along its shores.

The closest airport is Phuket International Airport (HKT). The camp is approximately 200 km /125 miles from Phuket. Taxis should be available from Phuket Airport to the camp for around 3,000 Thai Baht (USD $95).
Solo was trained by world class trainer Darryl Pierre and all-time Muay Thai living legend Coban Lookchaomaesaitong. He has used his experience under both coaches to create a trialed and tested systematic training method for improving Muay Thai skills.
What language is used during the Muay Thai training?
Training is conducted in English.
Is this available to all levels?
Yes, all physical ability, skill and experience levels are more than welcome to train.
How many people are to be expected in a group session?
There is a maximum capacity of 8 people training at the same time.
When is the program available?
The Muay Thai training program is available in February and March of 2020.
Do I have to participate in all the Muay Thai training sessions?
No. All sessions and activities are optional. While trainers encourage you to join in the activities as much as possible, you decide how much you want to train.
Do I have to bring my own Muay Thai equipment?
Shared equipment is provided for free at the camp. You may want to bring your own equipment for better comfort during training.
What else should I pack?
Please make sure you pack sunscreen, loose, comfortable gym clothing, running shoes, a rain poncho for any showers, and insect repellent.
Is WiFi available?
No, the camp is located in a very rural and unspoiled area with no access to Internet.
I am vegetarian / vegan. Can I still book this experience?
Vegetarian and vegan diets cannot be accommodated.
Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions for joining this camp.
