After completing the theory and kitesurfing physics lessons, it’s time for the fun part! Constantly accompanied by your instructors, you will get the professional advice and support needed to succeed and conquer the wind and waves all by yourself.
Each day starts out with breakfast, followed by a two-hour kitesurfing lesson. After lunch, guests can take another kitesurfing lesson, to accelerate their learning process. When they complete their 14-hour kitesurfing training, guests can make use of their full equipment to go kitesurfing on their own for as many hours as they wish or explore the surrounding area, spend time at the beach and rest. Dinner is scheduled at 8:00 p.m., followed by tent and cultural activities.
During your kitesurfing vacation, you will be accommodated in one of the 20 bungalows available at the kite camp. Each bungalow is modern and comfortable, equipped with its own terrace, and can host up to three people.
Deluxe bungalows provide stunning views of the Bahía de Dakhla lagoon, gardens and the surrounding sand dunes thanks to their lagoon-front setting.

What’s the weather like in Dakhla?
Dakhla is characterized by desert climate. The average daytime temperature between May and November is above 20°C / 68° and September is the hottest month, recording an average temperature of 24°C / 74°F. During these months, the average nighttime temperature is around 19°C / 66°F. Rainfall is low throughout the year. Best wind conditions for kitesurfing occur April through September. Highest wind chances occur from July to August, yet October is the best time to go kitesurfing in Dakhla. No-wind days are expected during December and January.

What should I pack?
Please make sure you pack light beach clothes, warm and comfortable clothes for chilly nights, swimwear, a long wetsuit, flip flops, sandals, towels, sunscreen cream, sunglasses, a hat, insect repellent, a Ziploc bag, personal toiletries, and any personal medication you might need.
Is any equipment provided?
Complementary to the 14 hours of kitesurfing tuition, you will be provided with full professional kitesurfing gear. The equipment will be available at the gear rentals center of the retreat. All equipment is high quality Peter Lynn kiteboarding gear. Kindly note that a €40 / US$44 refundable deposit is required when you rent the equipment. The equipment can be used whenever the guest wants throughout the 8-day stay at the kite camp.
How many people are to be expected during a kitesurfing lesson?
People can take part in either private, semi-private or group lessons. Solo travelers will be subject to private lessons, while two or more than two people booking at the same time are subject to semi-private or group lessons. Group lessons are available to a minimum of three and a maximum of five people. Solo travelers can take part in semi-private or group lessons if they wish, upon prior notification and subject to availability.
Do guests need a visa?
Guests traveling from EU and/or Schengen member states may enter Marocco for tourist purposes without a visa using their passports. Passports need to be valid for at least 6 months after entering Morocco. Please contact us for further guidance.
What language is used during the kitesurfing instruction?
This experience is available in English.
What is the local currency?
The local currency is the Moroccan Dirhams, but Euros, US Dollars and Pound Sterlings are also accepted at the property, at local shops and restaurants.
What’s the energy source of the kite camp?
The kite camp provides hot water, air conditioning, and WiFi using a generator and solar energy, alternatively. The generator operates between 6 a.m. – 10 a.m., 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 12 a.m., when a slight noise occurs. The generator does not operate in the rest of the time.
