For the following five days, your mornings will be spent painting at the gallery in Condom with your tutor who will help you develop your creative potential using a variety of mediums: watercolors, charcoal, pastels, and acrylics. You will be encouraged to work outside your comfort zone with plenty of guidance and valuable tips on colors, shading, and techniques. Painting classes are adapted to suit guests' needs and interests. Working in a small group of up to six people, the tutor gives each guest individual attention.

Florencia Cairo

Born in Argentina in 1972, Florencia Cairo graduated from the Facultad de Bellas Artes at the Universad Nacional de La Plata in Buenos Aires. Driven by the intention to return to basics and her creative philosophy of opposites, Cairo's works are as discreet as they are striking — bare, exposed, and uncompromising.

Her painting workshops provide an informal space where participants can begin practicing fine arts, refine existing skills, and try different painting mediums. In Cairo's own words, her classes are designed "not so that people learn to draw but to let go, to dare to express themselves."

Rebecca Taber

After completing her MFA at Bath Spa University in 2005, painter Rebecca Taber has taken part in several residencies including Can Serrat, Barcelona 2005, Kala Art Institute Berkeley, California 2006, and Siena Art Institute, Italy 2011. She won the WESTAF award in 2009 for outstanding artist.

Taber has participated in several group and solo shows, both nationally and internationally. A blend of figurative and abstract elements, her work is held in public and private collections in UK and Italy. Taber currently lives and works in France.

Franny Golden

Distinguished American painter Franny Golden is the recipient of an NEA Fellowship in London and has won numerous national and international awards including two Ragdale Foundation Residency Fellowships, a Vermont Colony Residency Fellowship, and a Villa Moltavo (California) Residency Fellowship. Widely exhibited throughout the world, Golden's work is held in many private and museum collections.

A professor of painting, drawing, life drawing, as well as the history of art for over twenty-five years, she has taught painting at the Provincetown Art Association, the Massachusetts College of Art, and the Cape Cod Conservatory, among others.
