### Day 1: Arrival
Get transferred from Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR), at 4:00 PM and arrive at the venue by 5:00 PM. After settling into your spacious room, join Flora Bowley and your fellow artists for an introductory tour. Discover the estate’s inviting apartments, well-equipped studio, tranquil pool, and beautiful gardens, all surrounded by picturesque vineyards and olive groves. Conclude your first evening with a delicious meal crafted by the estate’s private chef, paired with local wine, as you discuss the exciting plans for the week ahead.

### Day 2: Art at the venue
Start your morning with a nourishing breakfast, then prepare for a day of grounding, connection, and creative freedom. During your first gathering, you’ll experience Flora’s soulful welcome ceremony, where you'll make meaningful connections, set intentions for the week ahead, and learn more about Flora’s philosophy and approach. You’ll connect to your body with gentle movement and arrive more fully into your surroundings through an “awe walk.” End the morning with a playful group collaboration. Take a well-deserved lunch break, followed by an afternoon of free-flowing color and mixed-media art explorations. Located in the scenic countryside of Reggello, Tuscany, the mill is just a 10-minute drive away through rolling hills and olive groves.When you arrive at Frantoio Pasquini Mill, you’ll get to explore its rich blend of traditional and modern oil-making techniques. The tour takes you through the olive groves, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the production process, and shares the family’s four-generation legacy in olive oil craftsmanship. ### Day 5: Trip to Siena
*Each day, Flora will encourage you to carve out at least 15 minutes for a personal morning practice of drawing and writing… a powerful practice you can take home with you!Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off to Siena, one of Tuscany’s most iconic medieval towns. You'll reach your destination after a scenic 1 hour and 15 minute drive through the sprawling countryside.Once in Siena, you'll have plenty of time to explore the town's storied past with the help of a local guide. Visit the Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), a stunning example of Italian Romanesque-Gothic architecture, and the Piccolomini Library (home to works by Donatello, Michelangelo, and Bernini). The tour ends at the iconic Piazza del Campo, with its unique shell shape and the towering Torre del Mangia. You will have the opportunity to paint, sketch, or take reference photos on location.Pause for a coffee in one of the cozy piazza cafés or enjoy lunch on your own at a local trattoria, savoring authentic Tuscan flavors. This retreat will open new doors and show you what’s possible in your art and in your life, so it’s important to take time to integrate the experience. She will also guide you on a spirited visualization to imagine what your most creatively alive life might look like. ### Tuscan Vineyard Estate
Your venue for the art retreat with Flora Bowley is a serene Tuscan vineyard estate nestled in the Chianti region. Covering 80 acres (32 hectares), the estate dates back to the Middle Ages and once belonged to the influential Medici Tornaquinci family, forever establishing its place in history. Amenities on the estate include a 66-foot (20-meter) swimming pool, extensive gardens, a private lake, and wine cellars. You can also enjoy the large outdoor dining area, party hall, and spacious art studio for your classes. During your free time, you're welcome to explore the picturesque surroundings using the scenic walking paths. The accommodation spaces are spread across two main buildings and a smaller, separate villa, whereas the common area and art studio are located in the reconverted 18th-century granary. These spaces range from cozy, intimate suites to multi-bedroom apartments with amenities spread over multiple floors. The rooms boast stunning views of the estate's expansive gardens, vineyards, or peaceful private lake. Your classes with Flora will be carried out in a spacious 1,560 sq. ft. (145 sq. m.) studio located on the second floor of the granary building. It features ample natural and artificial light. You may also paint outdoors in the gardens, with the estate's stunning landscape providing endless inspiration. Please note that the venue may not be suitable for participants with limited mobility, as some rooms and the studio are accessible only by stairs, and getting around the venue spaces requires a short walk. Additionally, being in the Italian countryside, you may encounter some insects during your stay. To preserve the historical character of the estate, the rooms are not equipped with window screens.

### Shared standard room - adjacent bathroom (female only)
You will share this room and its private bathroom with another same-gender retreat participant. The room is part of an apartment in a renovated medieval tower on the second floor (stairway access). The room contains two twin beds and is fan-cooled, with an architectural design that naturally keeps the space cool. The room is part of an apartment with shared amenities, such as a shared living area with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and a TV. You'll have access to an adjacent bathroom with a shower or tub, shared with the other participant staying within the room.

### Shared superior ensuite room (female only)
You'll share this room and its ensuite bathroom with another same-gender participant. The shared superior room is available in the main villa, located on the third floor. The room features twin beds and is fan-cooled, designed with architecture that keeps the space cool, with an ensuite shower bathroom. The bathroom is shared between the same-gender participants occupying the same room. The shared living room located on the second floor provides a comfortable space to relax, alongside a shared kitchen, complete with dining amenities and a TV.

Three single standard rooms available for single occupancy are located within separate apartments in the main villa (second floor) or the medieval tower (third floor). Each apartment offers access to a shared living room and either a kitchenette or a full kitchen with a dining table and a TV. Five superior single rooms are available for single occupancy, each featuring a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Each apartment includes a shared living room and either a kitchenette or a full kitchen with a dining table and a TV. In two of the apartments, the shared kitchen and living room are located downstairs from the bedrooms. All rooms are fan-cooled.

### Single deluxe apartment
Four single deluxe apartments are available for single occupancy, each offering the comfort and privacy of having the entire apartment to yourself. Located on the first and second floors in one of the main buildings of the estate, these apartments feature a bedroom with a double bed, a private bathroom with a shower, and a cozy living room. Two of the apartments include a kitchenette, while the other two offer a separate kitchen with a dining table. One of the apartments spans both the first and second floors, with amenities and living spaces divided across the levels. Each apartment covers approximately 646 sq. ft. (60 sq. m).

During your art retreat with Flora Bowley, you'll savor delicious, authentic Italian cuisine with wonderful meat and vegetable-based dishes crafted by the private chef. The chef uses fresh, seasonal local ingredients to prepare classic Tuscan recipes, offering a true taste of the region's rustic flavors. You will enjoy home-cooked meals that look amazing and feature the tastiest Italian “Nonna”-style (grandma) recipes.Start your day with a Tuscan breakfast, featuring a selection of breads, fruit jams, honey, yogurt, cornflakes, homemade cakes, and croissants. You'll also enjoy Tuscan cheese, eggs, fresh fruits, juices, and a variety of beverages like cappuccino, coffee, tea, milk, almond milk, and soy milk.Lunch is served buffet-style and typically includes a variety of starters, salads, and a first course, accompanied by fresh fruit. Will I receive a full refund if the retreat is not guaranteed?UpTrek does not charge the payment method we collect until the retreat becomes guaranteed. Once the retreat is guaranteed and your payment method is charged, there will be no reimbursement. Participants are required to purchase travel, medical, and cancellation insurance for protection against any circumstances that might require cancellation or change of travel arrangements. Will I receive a full refund if the guaranteed retreat is canceled by the artist or by UpTrek?If the retreat is canceled due to force majeure events or circumstances out of UpTrek's and/or the instructor's control, UpTrek will let you know as soon as possible, refund the total cost of the retreat, and help you find another option for your vacation.
