# Sara Tepes
*Artist, Illustrator & Graphic Designer*

Sara Tepes is an art educator, retreat host, and author specializing in traditional and digital art inspired by classic fairytales. She began her digital illustration journey at just 12 years old, when she downloaded her first editing program to color her manga drawings. As her skills grew, she began sharing her work online, building a dedicated audience of over 370,000 followers on Instagram and 440,000 subscribers on YouTube, where she creates educational art content and relaxing painting videos.

In February 2025, Sara published her first book, "Digital Painting Made Simple", and has since launched a watercolor course to further support her students. She began hosting art retreats in 2022, and this upcoming retreat marks her seventh time leading immersive, in-person creative retreats.

Today, Sara works across both traditional and digital mediums, including drawing and painting. She is known for her diverse subject matter, ranging from female portraits and florals to landscapes, baked goods, and whimsical animals. Her work is rooted in education, with a focus on helping her audience build confidence and skill through approachable, engaging instruction.
