# Megha Kapoor
*Watercolor Artist*

Megha Kapoor is an Indian watercolor artist and instructor, internationally known for her delicate and expressive floral compositions. Over the years, she has developed a unique style that captures the emotion and atmosphere of still life, florals, and intimate daily moments through bold washes that let the colors bloom.

After graduating with a degree in Applied Arts at the Fine Arts Faculty of Jamia Millia Islamia, Megha moved into teaching, joining Anitoons The School of Art and Animation as an art instructor and becoming Head of the B.F.A Department. There she taught countless students to see the world through the eyes of an artist, noticing shapes, value, edges, and the relationship between colors.

Megha is Vice President of the Watercolour Society of India (WSI), Vice President of the International Watercolour Society of India (IWS-India), and editor of the International Watercolour Society Magazine. She also has multiple awards, such as the Fuumuui Award at "Lin in Aqua" and the International Young Artist Award in the IWS Iran contest, as well as winning first place in the Non-Realist Floral Category at the American Art Awards.

With over two decades of teaching experience, Megha goes beyond techniques, helping students understand the world around them from an artist's perspective. Whether in a classroom or at international festivals, her goal remains the same: to help students see the expressive beauty of everything that surrounds them.
