# Helen C. Stark

Helen C. Stark is a visual artist and illustrator based in Yorkshire, England. With a passion for art from a young age, Helen’s work centers around visual journaling and still life, inspired by seasons, heritage, travels, and the works of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Matisse, and Cézanne.

She became a Substack bestseller with “The Time Foragers’ Club," a creative community that celebrates seasonal charm and encourages artistic growth, launched in 2024. In 2021, she also published an adult coloring book, “Colouring Edinburgh," inspired by famous historical landmarks and cultural icons from Edinburgh, Scotland’s renowned capital city.

Helen has taught numerous creative workshops in Edinburgh, York, and Doncaster, having obtained her teaching degree in Scotland. Born in Ireland, Helen lived in multiple places throughout her life (France, Canada, Scotland, and now Yorkshire), experiences which have impacted her creative journey in one way or another. After starting to share her art on Instagram, Helen found her creative voice, her artistic style moving from minimal fine-line ink drawings to full-color paintings.
