# Ellen Crimi-Trent

Ellen Crimi-Trent is a popular Massachusetts-based fine artist and designer. She is best known for her trendsetting lifestyle brands that have been gracing the shelves of major retail stores for over eighteen years. Ellen graduated with a major in Illustration from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and went on to briefly work in the fashion industry as an artist and designer. She later transitioned into an independent artist and began licensing her whimsical and decorative artwork. She has not looked back since. Today, Ellen's designs can be found on everything from greeting cards to home décor to ceramics, in many major retail stores around the US and Europe. Ellen regularly teaches art to her more than 130K YouTube subscribers and patrons. Her teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and supportive, as she takes her students through her process step by step. With a sketchbook always at arm's distance, Ellen is always dreaming up new collections for her students, clients, and collectors.
