# Danielle Cremisino
*Watercolor and Gouache Artist*

Danielle Cremisino is a Minnesota-based watercolor and gouache artist and owner of "de la crem studio." Her art is playful, chic, and colorful, and she is one of the most widely followed online art tutorial teachers. Danielle works primarily with gouache and ink pens.

Danielle grew up drawing, focusing on long-form hyper-realistic sketching, but upon having two kids, her art took a pause. In 2025, she picked up the brush again and found a way to make short-form painting work for her, creating whimsical pieces and finishing them in whatever time she had on hand. She started posting her work on Instagram and TikTok to help others enjoy short-form, low-pressure art, fostering a supportive community of over 1M followers across platforms.

Her style of teaching is one that helps people get rid of the anxiety and pressure of making "perfect" paintings. Her time-boxed, low-pressure workshops help students break things down into shapes that are easier to channel onto paper. She is also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
