# Brandi Hofer
*Mixed media artist, muralist, and educator*

Brandi Hofer is a collected Canadian artist whose expressive, soulful portraits and large-scale murals have been exhibited internationally and across North America, including in New York City. Her work explores themes of empowerment and the emotional self, and has been featured on HGTV and at the Saatchi Gallery in London, as well as in international publications including Create! Magazine. Her collectors include Jillian Harris, Sarah Baeumler, Jenna Kutcher, Jann Arden, and Sarah Nicole Landry.

Brandi completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) in 2008. She has taught thousands of artists across North America and Europe, and in 2021 founded an Art Academy in partnership with her local public school district with a focus on inclusivity and self-discovery. She has collaborated with brands including Walmart Canada, GM, Earls Restaurant, and the Remai Modern.

A highlight of her career is the completion of a monumental 3,082-square-foot mural titled "Choose Love and Join Hands in Truth and Reconciliation," alongside an Indigenous Mentorship Program that included a final ceremony with elders.

Brandi is also the creator of the "Colour Me Happy" podcast and book alongside a thriving online community, all dedicated to spreading creative joy and fostering connection through art. Her studio in the Canadian prairies is where she and her children create together, and where her signature portrait method continues to evolve with every class she teaches. With this retreat, she brings that same method to Portugal, offering a space where you can finally let go, be yourself, and fall back in love with your creative process.
