# Becca Hall
*Illustrator and Sketchbook Artist*

Becca Hall is a freelance illustrator and children's book maker originally from the Lake District, now based in Cornwall. She graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2014 and has been working freelance ever since. Her work is rooted in nature, from animals and sea life to coastal landscapes and woodland scenes, and that warmth and charm carries through everything she creates. She has illustrated several published children's books including "Dragon's Breath and Yellow Wellingtons," "Ocean Voyagers," and "The Magpie's Nest," and her commercial work spans illustrated maps for Lake District National Park, packaging for Lakeland, and her own range of giftware sold in shops across the UK.

Becca runs an online teaching community on Patreon called The Creative Crew, where she shares monthly drawing tutorials, material tests, sketchbook tours, and drawing-on-location videos, and hosts live Zoom drawing sessions.
